I'am putting a 360/727 in a 66 Barracuda. Reusing the 6 cyl. k member and Schumacher swap mounts. No power steering or brakes. I have seen a lot of threads about using the iron exhausts form Dakotas and/or Durangos. But they all seem to 67 and newer. Will any of these fit my set up? What if any mods would be needed? Since I became disabled, the budget has gotten VERY tight. No $ for headers.

66 and earlier K members are all the same V8 or /6,
the dakota exaust manifolds will only work with manual steering and floor shift automatic, you will still need to do some grinding of the drivers side manifold and possibly shimming the motor mounts for clearance

Cool! What engine size, year, model etc. should I start looking for?
Thanks for your help.

You should also check to see if you have the V8 dropped centerlink. Some 1966 6cyl cars came with the V8 link, some did,nt.You could always shim the engine up to clear the pan.

Thanks, it looks like I can cross one more item off the question list. I got a drop center link a couple of years ago, Thanks for thinking about it.
Again, THANKS to all.
Mike
