We used to do that just for kicks when I was a kid.

um be carefull, if the shell outer casing doesn't leave the barrel the next shot could kill you!

probably will not cycle in most pumps and autos unless you cut the shell so there is 4 pieces of plastic still holding it together.

I would not do it.

Very interesting... like trapster said, most likely would jam up an auto or pump but interesting nevertheless.
