Isn't the direct (front) drum the same as a 904? The later 904's (998/999) commonly had the 5 disk pack, as did the V8 A500s

The drum was advertised as fitting both 904's as well as a500/42rh.

Plan to keep the Hurst Pro-matic I'm currently running, although I do want to put a factory console around it.

Difference in the 4 and 5 disk drums.

Managed to assemble the OD unit without any special tools. Used the mid shaft from the 46re as an alignment tool.
