For what AC/DC does, they were awesome! They put on a great rock-n-roll show. They play about 5 songs from the new album, Black Ice, and the rest of the show was a roledex of their hits.... almost everything you'd hope to hear (no Sin City....GRRR! ) And that's all I'll post about the show. I know some of our members are going to be seeing them and I don't want to spoil any surprises. It was a good show indeed! 8)
The opening band, The Answer, was actually pretty good. If you can, don't blow them off as just the opening act. This is how and where tomorrows talent comes from, and these 4 young guys from Belfast had a decent sound. No ground-breaking material... but a good, tight, polished act. In otherwords, commercially sell-able. Their debut album comes out in Feb.
It was an enjoyable night out with a interesting observation: The audience was either under 20 or over 50. Hardly ANY middle ground!
