I am not one to brag about winning any trophies. Truthfully, I don't really care one way or the other. I didn't build my car for that reason. But I was pretty damn shocked to win the "Best in Show" at a big 4th of July car show yesterday. There were some beautiful cars at the show, including some customs that I thought were simply a cut above, but the judges seemed to be impressed by the quality and detail on my car (even with an engine that clearly shows signs that I drive the car). What made it even better is I had my "partner in crime" (my daughter Brooke) there to share it with me. Brooke is making her first trip to Carlisle with me next week.

Congrats! A beauty of a Dart. The trophies are cool but the memories are tops!

That's awesome. As Mike said trophies are cool, but your daughter being there made it memorable.
Congrats to you and Brooke.

Congratulations! Awesome memories you have with you and your daughter

It's a good feeling VADART - congrats. Built the. land yacht 13 summers ago for cruising, not showing. 2nd year it was at Carlisle, I won 2nd place on the fun field. Had no clue, until the plaque showed up in the mail a week later.
