recorded and watched the the whole series earlier this year. constantly see places i know, and knew. one episode has the perp coming out of my grandparents driveway while they're waiting for him at the gas station across the street.

Great episode look for Mopar race cars. Season 4 is also great as the 2 Lane blacktop cars show up. The 55 is a static display. But the GTO is in two car chases.

 

I was born a generation too late. I watched Adam 12, andy Griffith, gomer pyle, all in the family, with my dad all the time.

Always found it funny each show had vehicle sponsors.

Andy Griffith was always ford
Gomer Pyle was Chrysler.
Think adam12 has amc's most of the seasons.

 

mostly fords and mercs, but Perry Mason is another great show for car spotting

Another great car spotting show was Mannix.

 

I agree. Mannix had some cool cars. I liked his '69 Barris Dart convertible. I've seen it was found and restored in the past couple of years.

 

There is an interesting episode must of been the 3 season 1969. Mannix goes out of town on a case and rents a 69 Charger RT.

 

You would think after all these years someone would know something about that car. If it’s sitting somewhere or just gone.

 

There are some good clips from Mannix on YouTube. He always had convertibles, after the Dart they put him in a Cuda, Probably all promotional stuff. The mod squad had some mopars also. I think it was a Cuda also and Link had a Satellite.
The car spotting on Adam 12 is the best. There is always the 68 mustang coupe, brown/white top. It’s in almost every episode. I try to watch it everyday. The one with the police proving grounds should be coming up, I think it’s when they switch to the AMC, which today’s episode was the first one of season 5 which was the first one with the Matador.

Did you notice they created a 72 Cuda convertible in Mannix Also Adam 12 covered tape over names and makes. Wally of Leave it to Beaver, plays a soldier back from Vietnam and has his new Chevelle stolen by a group of young female car thieves. There’s a convertible Challenger Red I think Nameplates taped over. I also believe it was the challenger from Mod Squad.
