Im starting to feel like my self again. Yesterday I fought the Perc withdrawls for awhile. I think I had 20 something in a weeks time. The swelling has gone down a ton, stil more to go. Still hard to eat becuase of the infection draining itself in to my mouth. Yummy

Havent smoked since I dont remember when either. I think I lost between 5 or 10 lbs. Its been a week today since I went to the ER. All of this over of tooth. Probably a few more days off till I can work again.

Just went through this with an infected tooth. thought I had a sinus infection, and so did the Docs. My ears were all infected and I had real bad headaches.
I decided to go to a Dentist and lo and behold I had a real bad infection in a lower back tooth. Well after another root canal (Thurs Morn), I am starting to feel a lot better.

So if this is what Adam had I can sympithize. Hang in there, it can only get beeter.

Thanks Dave. thats how it started but I ended up with an upper and lower tooth infected on the left side. Went to the Dentist wanted the infection to go down a bit before the removed them but the next morning they were abscessed. So This all started last Friday night ( pain) Trip to the ER on Sunday, dentist Moond,Tues, Back to the ER Wends night then from there right to the Dentists were they pulled them. Then a visit on tuesday to remove a drain in my cheek and stitches. Now Tues I go bacjk for one more check up. I hope.


So right now Im very tired, have a pain in my back, swelling in the face, still cant loose the feever and can hardly eat so I've lost almost 10lbs. Im doing much better. LOL

I got 2 wisdom teeth extracted today,
my jaw is sore, the bottom one didn't want to come out.

I just ate some Ramen noodles, and chopped up a hard boiled egg,
and made egg salad, for supper.

I took 2 Vicodin at 1pm, and 1 more at 5 pm.Took an antibiotic pill
at the same times, supposed to take antibiotic every 6 hours.

Using an ice pack off and on, on the left side of my face,
it's supposed to help.

Glad I didn't have the infection, I had a month ago.

The Dr. called me about 3 hours after I left his office,
by then the novacain was worn off, thought it was nice of him
to remind me to use 2 pillows to keep my head Up.

I took tommorow off from work, just in case.

Hope you recover faster then I am. Most of the swelling in my cheek was gone yesterday. Took a nap and woke up to it being swollen again.They also pulled the muscles in my face acroos my temple when the forced my mouth open to get to the teeth. Looking like I'll be home for the rest of this week too.

The whole left side of my face hurts,
the left cheek looks like I have about 4 sticks of bubble gum there,LOL.

The toothache pain is gone.

I just took aspirin today, didn't like the way the vicodin made me feel.

I didn't like Morphine, when I had that in the past, either.

caveman, know what your feeling also, had both my uppers taken out recently pain only lasts a bit. Just avaoid the dry socket, no soda straws or anything like that.
Adam, Hope your recovery speeds up, and get you back up to snuff.

Caveman, I went threw the same thing. Teeth only hurt a day or so. but the inffection just wont go away. Its been 1-1/2 weeks since Ive been able to work. Tired of being in the house and Ive decided that people have day jobs because there is nothing on TV during the day.

Big bottle of JD - rinse once and spit, rinse twice and swallow - continue until bottle is empty - it may not be a cure but it sure will help with the pain and suffering - teeth aching sucks - hope all goes well for ya.

LOL, The weather Channel gets boring after 2 hours.

I went to WalMart today, just to buy a Gallon of porch paint,
just to get out of the house,LOL.

The internet helps a little.

I am taking an antibiotic 4 times aday, hope that it works.

I was so bored to taday I did the dishes and the laundry ! Also I use to watch the TV guide channel till something good would come on. They got rid of that channel last week though. I did find that Married With Children is still on FX !
