I am on day 2 now of adjusting the quarter and door glass on my '70 Dart. I've had everything out and apart during the restoration. What a pia. I've got the manual and am familiar with all the adjustments. I can get the door glass parallel at the top and the quarter glass sealing at the top. However, there are still a few fitment issues I just can't resolve. The door adjustments are pretty good.
- top corner of vent window sticks out past weather strip trim (both sides) . I've loosed all bolts, front and rear, and setscrew and can't move the top of the vent window in. Perhaps I can move the weather strip trim out a bit or is it supposed to look like this? The glass doesn't sit against the seal properly on the driver's side (see pic) at the front top half.
- door and quarter glass are not parallel (both sides). The door glass vertical trim does seal against the quarter vertical seal when rolled up. It seems everything is at the end of its adjustment. I had to loosen/tighten the regulator to get it this close.
