My Gold Duster is still wearing its original paint from 73. Unfortunately it has been sitting out for 3 years prior to me purchasing it. Any advice on how to bring this old paint back to life? I'd like to save the paint and put my money into the drivetrain upgrades. How do you remove the side stripes? I'd like to replace them. They are horribly faded.

I bought a meguires kit that came with the da type of machine, pads, compound , polish, wax and detailed. It did an awesome job on my car. Paint was kinda chalky and now it's has a great shine and is nice and smooth.

Any thoughts on the vinyl roof?
