And I do see it says for Ford but Its a replacement for the Holley 1920 so Im sure it fits

If you're so "sure it fits", order it on up. Gotta learn one way or another.

Well if its a copy of the 1920 it "should" fit right? I mean the 1920 was the model and was not changed or switched around for different makes otherwise there would be a 1920 and 1921 one for each engine right? or am I crazy

Mopars used different linkages from Fords which had different linkages from GMs...
Even Mopars had two different linkages- early As with a slant 6 (1966 and earlier) had a throttle rod with a "twist" linkage, and later As had a cable linkage. You didn't bother to say what your car was, so I can't tell you which you need.
You can definitely make the cable types work between manufacturers with a bit of creativity, but the twist type throttle rod would take a bit more work; it's not a quick and easy bolt-on-and-go proposition.

You're crazy. It's not anywhere near the right carburetor. But you know it is, so get it comin. lol

Seriously, PAY ATTENTION! LOOK at the throttle linkage! It is NINETY DEGREES off from the slant 6 carburetor! That's the Ford version. There are many, many versions of the Holley 19XX carburetors and they are not the same. You need a replacement for your year model slant 6. Stop shooting in the dark and look for the correct one.

Any recommendations on where to go to buy something that will work I don’t need anything perfect since I’ll be swapping out the engine within the next 4 months

I'll bet an ad in the Parts Wanted section of the site would turn one up in no time.

Lots of experience with carbs on here .

Also lots of free ,credible advice worth listening to.

Yeah I’ve learnt a lot on here I just have never asked or cared to ask about the slant 6 since it’s always ran no problems as long as I maintain it and I went to tighten it down since it was lifting when I rev it, so I tightened it and it just snapped and I was scared half to death since it’s my only car, so I apologize to everyone that thinks I just don’t care I want to learn I had no clue the slant 6 throttle linkage changed throughout the years but hey now I know and I’ll remember that I was just in a rush to find something and that is dumb and will leave the car in the current condition longer if I have to send parts back because I rushed.

Looks like a version of the Argentinian latter-day knockoff of the local Holley 1bbl carburetor. Argentinian or Chinese, it is nowhere close to meeting the "quick" requirement. Making this carburetor work on your "daily driver slant" (I guess from the tiny pic in your avatar on here it's a '73-'75 Duster, but you didn't specify…oh, wait, I see you did in a subsequent post) will be a long, complex, frustrating, and ultimately unsuccessful process. This carburetor is just way too different in too many ways to a '73 Duster carburetor.

Will it even fit? Moot point given the above, but…no, probably not. Here's a pic of the Ford 1bbl carb mount gasket atop the Slant-6 item:

Can you get a carburetor that will meet almost all your requirements (quick + will fit + will work)? Yes, such as this one, which will drop right on and hook right up. "Cheap" is almost definitely out of the question.

Shoot I really mess up with this one I guess I may just have to eat my fist on this one my fault over tightening which it didnt seem like I did until pop big ‘ole crack maybe I’ll just patch it up with some glue and not mind the fire ball spewing from under the hood

Hold the phone. You need a carburetor for your:

Okeh, you'll be doing an engine swap in your one and only car that you use for school you have to get to if you don't want to flunk out. But I guess you're not swapping in another Slant-6, because then you could just grab the carb off that engine and toss it on the present one. So you're swapping from a Slant-6 to a V8, then, are you, in your '73 A-body, which is your only car that you need every day?

Yep, spot on, sir! In four months, it’ll be summer, so no need for class. I’ll just borrow my brother’s Nova to get to work problem solved. The /6-to-V8 swap? Three days max (that’s what we all say). Besides, I’m a teenager; financial wisdom isn’t exactly my strong suit!

I've been twisting wrenches, for about 60 years. Unless you have a complete "donor" car, I doubt you can do this swap in 3 days. I know I can't

A 3 day engine swap slant 6 to V8 is a pipe dream. I do good to swap my race car engines in 3 days which are pretty much carbon copies of each other. In order to do your 3 day swap, you either have unlimited resources of very deep pockets. Good Luck!

I have the larger torsion bars and Schumacher mounts, and I’m not doing a K-frame swap. I have a differential that’s big enough, the correct driveshaft, a transmission, and a bigger radiator already installed. The hardest part will be dropping the engine in and adjusting it to sit properly and doing the Carb and trans linkage and new Speedo cable since mine is shot. The Slant Six can be removed in about an hour. With 3-4 people and three days of work, I don’t see why this wouldn’t be feasible but I can see some electrical may not be completed and may bleed into day 4 but we’ll see.

Well I’ll say Mr Dan you are one smart a$$ but you put my *** in check sure I got a lil upset but I know I don’t know everything. One tough f*cker lol I’ll just do the right thing and buy the right one

I actually appreciate people trying to help me not make costly mistakes.
I do too and if it weren't for SlantSixDan and RustyRatRod Id have boughten something thats Crap, and Does not fit and i also learned to take the time and actually look!! at the linkage.

Mostly because I used to be a dumbaѕѕ! More like I had the usual difficulty seeing [why ____ wouldn't work the way I thought, why ____ wasn't a good idea, etc] that goes with being young.

Some kinds of lessons can't be taught, only learned.
