Aluminum race seat

Hello everyone, I am in the market for a new Aluminum race seat. Like the rest of us I am hoping it wont break the bank as I do know these things can get expensive. The main thing I keep in mind and have learned over my lifetime is "Good things are not cheap and cheap things are not good". It costs money to have good quality safety items in your race ride as a person only gets one shot at having that gear in your ride.... There is no rewind button... Please advise as I am open to year end close out sales as well.

I think kirkey is great, it didn't break my bank & I'm dirt poor.

I've put Kirkey seats in almost all my builds. They're pretty comfy, and very well made. The basic model is what I always seem to use.

I will add a little safety nod to the kirkey also, I have a wrecked 68 dart here with a bent bar where the kirkey was attached. The seat saved and harness saved my friend from probably being crippled at least.

May I add, make sure you get the proper hip width on your Kirkey. I couldnt use there seat mount brackets. Way too low in my 66 A

I have Kirkley seats as well. I may have to modify or order a better seat with more lateral head support for my application. Butlerbuit seats are also very good.

I got my Kirkleys on FB marketplace for $50 each from a dirt track car.

Another vote for Kirkey seats. I had one in my car, took it out and tried a couple of others. The Kirkey is back in the car and I sent the other seats down the road.
