Another boat question

Anyone know if you can buy a 90* drain plug for a boat motor? Or something similar to this? That eliminates the need to totally remove the drain plug?
@71GSSDemon
Thanks

Depends on age of engine. Newer models just unscrew a few turns and it starts flowing. I use a hose connected to the nipple side so it goes into a bucket nicely.

Thanks, yeah mines just a drain "plug", no nipple etc. I was hoping for something that doesn't dribble all over the side of it. 2006 Merc.

Ok. I was just in the parts catalog but didn't see what I was looking for. Can look more tomorrow

I use one of these Steve.....They work with compressed air.

The pump that @CFD244 posted above or something like it should work well. I don't see a newer style drain that would retrofit, unless something in the aftermarket.

Here's my '56 Chris-Craft Cavalier(plywood) 15' Utility. Fitted w/116HP gray Marine 6 cyl( Continental F-226) and used for slalom skiing.
Almost doubled HP from 60HP Chris 4-cyl(Hercules). 34MPH while pulling skiers. Taught you to ski 'Free of the Boat' or you'd slow the boat down too much & pull it off course slightly due to the light weight hull.

Can't get photos to post, enuff time wasting.

15' CC Cavalier photo. Got one & got a lot more & can't make them go. I'd do more if this process didn't always make me feel stupid. They probably engineer stupid to frustrate us on purpose. The same as newer cars.

When we fish it's for "whatever", Musky territory here. I caught my PB 2-3 years back. Total fluke but well over 50". Buddy caught his PB about an hour earlier lol. He was pissed, but over 7' of musky in boat that day
Would love to chase big musky! someday…

between us. I bumped into Bob Izumi about 9-10 years ago around London area.
