Another central Florida car pick

Been doing a little work on this 63 Valiant. Run all new brake lines, 4 new wheel cylinders and shoes . Got it running . Got a short video of it running if anyone is interested. . I want to give a shout out to @xLURKxDOGx for sending me a couple good carbs. Put it on , fired rite up and purred like a Singer sewing machine !

I had to jump in here and say Congratulations, a great find, front and rear never got hit, those 63 tail lights and other trim is tuff to find. Enjoy some windshield time and drive her, love the 63 look front and rear, more doors are getting called crew cab now in some circles.

Nice job getting it road and fun worthy.

Not a dent in the car anywhere !

Nice ride for a few hundred and labor, just like my first Valiant. So funny she didn't even bother to take a bag and remove the trash and give it a simple vacuum but asked $3k.

Al when are you guys picking up this lovely scrap metal? 1966 Dodge coronet · 440

I've been working on this Valiant trying to get it road worthy !.
Got new rear tires and a pair of 14" wheels on it today !
Then I opened the can of worms on the front ball joints. Gonna turn into a full front end rebuild. But I have most everything I need on the shelf !

Doing some brake restoration, needed all new lines , M/C , changed it to a dual master and distribution block.

Was grinding off the Pizza Logos of the hood and deck lid. I ask Theresa why she always gets my bald *** head in the picture.

So she fixed it ! LOL.

Pulled all the front suspension apart yesterday & today. Bought some lower ball joints. Mevotec.
Just about to wrap it up till I found they have 9/16 bolt holes instead ot 1/2".
Drilled out my knuckles but couldn't find any bolts local. . Amazon to the rescue ! Be a couple days then back at it.

I had newly rebuilt upper and lower control arms. Some 340 T bars to go in.
Kinda nice having parts on hand , just grab & go back to work.
Came to a screeching halt with the 9/16" bolts though. 9

I've had good luck finding those oddball 1/2" fine thread grade 8 knuckle bolts locally at ACE.

...and pretty much nowhere else.

Where is that 66 Coronet?

I need 9/16 bolts. Hopefully ACE has some. You can click the link on the Coronet above. I thought it said Fl.

What is the procedure steps on sticking the T bars back in.
With the LCAs hanging, adjusting bolts backed or what ?
Doing it once would be nice. Any advice ?

Tractor Supply didn't have large, fine thread grade 8, though.

At least none of the three near me did.
