Almost twice what our '46 pickup cost us 3 years ago - and it was in nicer shape outside, rougher inside, based on the photos
Of course, when the '46 build is done, it will have cost a LOT more than that...and probably wouldn't sell for much more than twice what he's asking :-/

Trucks are super hot right now. Don’t think it’s worth14k but man is that ***** clean looking. Sold my 65 d100 for 5500 and it was no where near as clean as that.

I'd ask 15000, you could always make me an offer. lol
and I could always make an offer on your overpriced car.

Geez next time I’ll just keep my mouth shut.
Not at all Bro, but respect the fact that even if We might agree 6-7K might be the max, I've seen people pay more for less. Can't blame him for trying, it ain't like those
rides are hangin' out of the trees for the pickin' everywhere, Everybody starts high and works down,..........and You only need to find the one person who falls in love
with it. Now if He was askin' 34K We'd all have a good laugh!!

That is actually a clean old truck.
I don't like that he painted the hub caps green, but still nice.
They are only original once.
I had a 56 years ago so I can appreciate a quality vehicle.

When I see something that clean, I think of all the work that is not going to have to be done. That's worth a lot.

I agree 100%. Plus no one makes metal for them as far as I know so metal replacement is that much harder and expensive.

With how popular trucks are right now And seeing the prices of trucks I think the truck brings between 7-10k. If as clean as it looks.

Actually, with the prices of old cars going thru the roof right now, I don't think his price is very out of line! I can see it selling pretty quick in the $12,500 range!!

I can see someone giving full price for it if they want it that bad.

I did the same thing for my 72 demon, it was on CL and everyone was saying it was over priced but I had to have it at any cost, so I gave him full price and didn't negotiate. I don't regret it because I got in line ahead of all the low ballers that way and I can call the car mine now which was the goal. It does happen and there might be someone out there who NEEDS that truck. LOL

Same thing happened to me...went to look at a car, told him I would give him his full asking price, and didn't beat down the car or his price at all! He told me he was sick of being beat up on every little aspect of the car, including the 70's "moonroof", that he threw in about $1000 worth of extra parts! The car was only $1000 to begin with!!
