Another dumb question

73 Duster. Does the OE power steering have the press on pulley or the bolt on pulley.

I’ve already bought March pulleys for the press on pump, and it looks like the OE pump was the bolt on unit.

So what is it supposed to be???

I believe the sag pump is bolt on. U probably can find a press on. Kim

Saginaw pumps or Federal/TWR round pump? Most 73's look bolt on.

Evidently that is the issue. The car should have a bolt on pulley, but at some point in its life it was replaced with the press on pulley.

Now I need a pump and I already have the pulleys.

Different brand pumps were used.

75-79 (I think) used a pressed on. GM used them too in that era.

I have a greasy core sitting in the garage that needs a new home if your looking for one.
