Yeah....I'm sick of it too.

My sister "accidentally' misplaced my new removable face CD player & power amp I had stashed away a while ago. It's God-knows-where in the house "somewhere"....and I need tunes in the Dart. NOW!!!!!!!!

I can't find the title for my sisters old car. I recently gave the car to a friend as a favor....and now he's starting to grind me up a bit.

My friends van I borrowed until the Dart is road worthy has developed a "knock" when going from drive to reverse. Possibly a ball joint, maybe a CV joint, or it could be an engine mount. Either way, I have to crawl under it tomorrow and find out....

And the damn Dart STILL has a water leak from under the dash when it rains.....and I re-sealed the wipers already. :cussing:

Granted, these things can be fixed with a beer and a bong hit, but thats no way to live either. On the up-side, here's a picture with the dog dishes installed.

I'm with ya on the tempoary cure FB. My Duster still has a leak under the dash somewhere--- new wiper seals are in but it still leaks. I think it comes in the cowl area where the fresh air comes in. I don't want to put tunes in it until I get the leak fixed.

Just as a heads up I had the same issue in my Duster turns out where the screw for the washer hose F connecter is. Well it damn near lines up over the fresh airbox and it wa sleaking in around there.

Some silicone on the threads fixed it up. My window rubber leaks but thats another story.

had the same leak on my demon it turn out to be the boot around the clutch rod where it goes thru the fire wall

luckly my car came with the wiper seals i installed em still leaked, just figured id swap em while dash was off, its a pain, mine leaks from the drivers air duct, any way to stop this?

THANK GOD!!!!!!!! 71Duster... I think that you just saved me from ripping out the dash in my 73 for the 3rd time!!!!!!
I live in Seattle and we all know how much it rains here and Im really getting tired of the top of my left shoe getting soaked every time it rains.
Now please excuse me I am going to attack my car with some silicone!!!

Yeah...I'm liking it too! I just brought it back from the garage to my apartment and all was well considering I "eye-balled" the alignment. It felt so good I was confident a short ride on the highway wouldn't be a problem. I had no squealing or pulling, it was just a *touch* twitchy...until I changed lanes. Scared the crap outta me. I thought I wuz gonna eat a guardrail. Slowed down to about 45-50 and enjoyed the ride. I'll change the tie rods and align it at work tomorrow, thursday the latest.

And still more people are giving me a thumbs-up on the road. I better up-grade my security system in the old girl.....:-s

It sure puckers the old wazoo on to those vinyl seats. :)

My wazoo was screaming a solid high C note....with vibrato.

I finished the rest of the front end rebuild tonight plus I changed the (original...) drivers side engine mount. Passenger side looks good. I guess with only 105 HP it's gonna last awhile....

Alignment tomorrow and we be cruisin....:headbang:
