There's a 1934 Plymouth Coupe, with a 383 Mopar, Torqueflite, and a Dana Rear, for sale in My area. -- It was well built in the 70s, by a friend, and had meticulous care since. -- I'm thinking about buying it. -- Anyone here have knowledge or comments about one of these ? ---- The picture is a File Photo of a Stock one. -- OOPS !! It's a 33, and I Got it. --- SEE POST # 17 For Pictures.

Those boxy little things are my favorites, whether Ford, Chev, Plymouth or Dodge. If it's done up right and you can afford it, why not??

You sure, tho, it's a 383 MOPAR? and not a SB chev?

-- It's definitely a 383 BB Mopar. It's been in my neighborhood forever. -- Size wise it looks similar to a Ford, but is larger, and I like the extra room inside.

My brother and I own a 33 Dodge Coupe.... w/400 BB and 727 Torqueflite and a 8.75 rear with 3.23 gears. This is a very neat and cool car. It was drag raced back in the early 50s and had a 392 hemi then, but was gone when our father bought it over 45 years ago, and has been in our family since. I would say buy it, if you can afford it, as they are very pricey, depending on condition! A very nice looking car indeed!
 
Sweet rare car...is the mostly stock with a newer BB Mopar drivetrain? Or is it a gasser or rat rod? I say if stock appearing and old school rodded out....buy it! Especially if it is still nice, like back in the day type hot rod, very desrieable car in both forms...I say go for it

Been keeping my eye on a local one myself that's been stuffed in a barn for around 50 years.
Waiting for the owner to decide its time to sale. The fellow is in his 90s and must still have visions to fix it up someday. I checked on it two weeks ago and a groundhog took up residence under it and kicked dirt halfway up the driver side of the body. At least the car and groundhog are staying dry where its at.
I've put a early Hemi aside for the car about 10 years ago. The old boy may outlive me.
Never pass up a 33-34 Plymouth coupe that's affordable. Would like to see a picture
of the car.
 
I an in N.E. PA also....I have this 29 dodge with 340/727 and I say buy it, if you can afford it....Where exactly in NEPA are you RPMagoo?

Another member here has a 40 dodge with older 392 hemi in it.... fstfish66 is his user name....the blue one....his friend also has a 1940 plymouth ....here are some pics of that also

Oooh a very nice one, congrats. So glad its Mopar powered as most I come across
arnt.
I think if I was to land that car me and the little lady would end up missing for at least a day
or two. Looks like lots of fun.
So how's she run?

Awesome find! I had a '33 Plymouth 5-window years ago. After I'd gotten married I sold it and never got the chance to finish it . There's something awfully cool about having suicide doors. Congrats!
