Found and bought a 1966 inland 4 speed shifter and handle. Anybody have tips or diagrams on how the rods go in? Well I have the rods in but not quit sure how to get it adjust or set up. Might have a rod going in on the wrong side on bottom of the shifter, seems like 1-2 and 3-4 might be binding as they pass on the shifter.

Playing with it seems like the handle rest over near 3 and 4 gear. Then you pull it over for 1 and 2 is that right? Pull the T handle and you should be able to pull it over more for reverse. Never installed or drove with a factory inland shifter so just trying to fiqure it all out.

You can download the 66 service manual on this site for free

Here's a shot out of the 66 manual, and 67 is essentially the same:

Pull t-handle up and reverse is to the left and forward. I had a shifter that the knob interfered with the t-handle going all the way up and had to un-screw the knob a litte bit every time i needed reverse.
