Any Rarity To A 65 Dart 4 Door 273

-
DartCharger, My grandpa is thinking of selling his 1964 Dart 4dr, 273, 3 on the tree. One owner, 112,000 miles. Do you have the production #'s? Thanks Chris

I don't remember if it is a 170 or a 270

Here is more figures about 65 Dart 270 4 door sedan.

Chrysler produced 4892 units w/V8. 4407 units had 273x2 bbl and automatic transmission. They produced 13 cars with 273x2 x2 bbl and 4 speed. 203 cars w/273x2 bbl and 3 speed on the coluum.
I was in vegas years ago and while I was there I went to some junk yards looking for parts and came across a 1965 4 door 273 with a 4 speed. The body was nice but the interior was totally gone. Jayson

Okay, My grandpa's is 1964 170 4 door 273, with a three on the tree. Is it rare? It will more than likely end up in the cars for sale in the next day or two.

Johnny Dart!

I got all the information that Chrysler had about all 1965 Dodge Darts w/slant six or V8. I have saved this info cause now when you contact Chrysler Historical you don't get it!!

But about your car, it's very rare. According to Chrysler back in the 80ies they said that an estimating of 20% is left. But that was 1987 when I got the info!

I have a 1965 Dart GT Convertible v/8 automatic shift on the floor how many were made??

Legendary has the seat covers - they used my original bucket seat and rear seat covers waaaay back in the early/mid 90s. Should also have the sunvisors (but not the brackets that hold the visor. According to the figures 65dartcharger sent me on mine, there were 855 GT converts made with the 273 2 barrel out of a total of 1584 V8 'verts

Ok you da man with the info!
Can you help me on mine also?
1964 Golden Anniversary Dart 170, 273, 2bbl, auto, 4 door?
1964 Dart 170 v-8 sales were 2200. But of my version?
What say ye? Please advise and thanks!
:read2:

Hi! I only have all the production figures for 1965 Darts. Sorry!

Hijacking an old thread, but I must have one of the one of 13 4 door 4 speed 273 2 bbl cars. I will try to get pics at some point. Its all original with manual steering and brakes. Had a radio block off plate. About the only option is factory AC. Hurst Comp plus shifter with the white knob.

Toolmanmike!

Here is the production figures for 1965 Dart 270 with 273 HP w/3 on the tree

270 2 door sedan 4 units
270 2 dr hardtop 61 units
270 4 door sedan 6 units
270 convertible 10 units

This car is extremly rare. As you know the Dart 270 wagon could not get the 273 HP engine.

Which model did you have? And do you have a picture on it!
Ulf, thanks for the thumbs up on the other post a few min ago. I was talking this morning on the coffee shop thread about my old 65 being such a oddball. I knew it would be next to impossible to find the post with the production numbers you posted but by golly, here it is. I made sure to bookmark it this time. Thanks!
