Any tricks for freeing stuck brake lines?

Before you cut the line......

Try the big vice grips.

Seriously.

Longer tool helps with leverage.

Clamp tool stops slipping.

You literally can't lose to try if you're at the point of cutting the line now.

heat and a real line wrench. i used craftsman line wrenches for years. always seemed to round things off. bought a used set of snappn line wrenches and they fit so much better and don't round things off.
