Anybody using the summit racing seats..Question.

Im not to sure but I know summit sells procar seats and they make correct mounting hardware for many diffrent kinds of cars. Im thinking they are around the same price.

I've got them! Had them a couple years right after they introduced them for $99 apiece, and I like them a lot. Universal adjusters on each side of each seat, and they lean all the way back.

The only mod on the sliders was a 1" riser on each side to mate them up with the holes in the floor. They fit me great, but Billy (at 6'5", 280 and 23" across the shoulders), says they're a little too tight for him to fit in and lean back comfortably.

This is a crappy old picture, but our cars are kind of similar so you can get an idea of the look.

I just used 1" square tubing and powder coated 'em in Silk Satin Black.

If you want pics, let me know. Always happy to help!

Yeah, what the heck, why not if you have them.
Always glad to let someone else be the ginnea pig when it comes to this stuff, ha, ha.

I am also looking for a set of seats and I seen these seats but It was not very clear on what all was included .....if it has seat tracks already and all I have to do is make some risers to get them to mount up right and work correctly than that sounds like a good deal.

they come with the adjusting tracks right?

I imagine for the time being that the factory seat belts would work until I got around to nabbing up some harness belts.

sorry...not trying to Hijack lol, I just seen you were in somewhat of the same boat as I

I sat in them at Summit, feel pretty comfortable, and good quality, the sliders have 1 lever underneath to operate the sliders.
