Anyone ever deal with JACKS?

I ordered a windshield gasket for the Dart on-line a week ago and never received confirmation. I called their shop today (both numbers.... the 800 and the direct line) several times and got no answer. Anyone ever deal with them, especially with an on-line order?

Just wondering if I'm waiting for nothing. :|

Ive never used them but I cant remember hearing anything bad about them. If it was Jims I would say your s.o.o.l.

I guess Jacks doesn't give confirmation e-mails or answer their phones. Part is here though... All is good! :thumbup:

Yeah , they`re in Jersey I think and generally fast to ship. I`ve used them and had no problems.

As a follow up to my inquiry about JACKS:


I bring my car into work and have our glass guy (Billy from Liberty Glass out here in Queens....great guy) pull out my windsheildd and, believe it or not, NO RUST in the channel! He cleans it all up and then those friggen Gremlins that hound me made it to my job. The damn gasket is TOO TALL by about an inch! I call Jacks and tell them what happened. They SWEAR they've been selling "That exact part" for FIFTEEN YEARS without ANY problems. Naturally, he asks if the glass guy is experienced and if I asked for the right application. I read the part number off the bag and he says "Thats the right gasket..."

So, I section the gasket 1 1/4" and seal it up and NOW it fits.... Imagine that: $90 for the gasket and $75 installation and the ******* thing is hacked !

I'm tellin ya... I'm shoppin for a Chevy.

I'm not giving up "that quickly..."

Go in the archives and see the friggen torture I've been put through with my car over the last couple years. Go read the story about the 20 mile engine I had built.... or all the wrong parts..... or impossible to deal with vendors....or any one of the other hassles I've had. Been a Mopar guy all my life, just getting tired of these "loyalty tests" I've been put through.

And yes, I joke about buying a Chevy because you can shake a tree and have the parts you need fall out....

I gave Jacks my credit card number, placed my order, never heard back......except 7 days later my parts arrived.
They were high quality, and I would definately deal with Jacks again!

Don't tempt me-eeeeeeee? I was a Chevy guy until about 23 - been a Mopar guy for a long time ... but ... I do know what you mean. I just never drove a Chevy that I really liked. Now a Mustang could tempt me.
