Found a car with a good VIN but no title...just want to check the legal status.
 
If it's a pre-1981 car carfax won't help.
 
Its a 2009 Mini Clubman. Says not title and I was wondering why. Maybe they still owed on it. "Intake valves need cleaning (why?), and O2 sensors need to be changed, bring a trailer"....I think it would still start with only those problems? Its straight, 4 low tires, rusted rotors and even the interior is clean....$600? Looks like its been sitting for a while. Probably broken timing chain and bent valves....PASS.

well, it aint stolen or salvaged but I bet its a money pit. Many negative reviews on pre 2014 Minis as being typical BMW ****, ie. fun to drive to the ATM to get more repair funds. And the parts are super expensive. Looks like a fail to launch on my end. Too bad, it was a good looking car. Should drop a Chrysler 2.2 in it (like BMW almost did when the Minis first came out!)

although the Ger'Mini's are uglier for sure.
 
mini's are expensive to fix. get some miles on them and it seems every year it cost thousands to repair some other stupid thing that broke
