Redoing my Drum Brakes and noticed that the inner bearing on LH Side is no good. Dead ringer was the Hub being a little tuff to pull off. And then you see the slight burn on the spindle.
Checked Summit and tried to find the correct inner and outer bearings and inner seal, but they're specs are so broad it was near impossible to nail down.

Anyone know the bearing/seal part numbers for 68 Cuda 10" front drum hubs? :BangHead:
WHAT grease provides the slickest lubrication?

Rock auto is your friend.

Same applies for bearings.

If you don't see anything for barracuda dart and valient same years should be the same

BCA front inner bearing and race NBA6. Any of your local parts stores should be able to tell you the numbers and probably have them in stock.

Here are the Chrysler part numbers
2808267-seal
1619701- inner bearing
1619700-inner cup or race
1619703- outer bearing
1619702- outer cup or race
Rockauto's interchange from Chrysler number to their listing is wrong. Searching by application may or may not be correct. All of these numbers can be found on eBay.
Someone can probably interchange Chrysler numbers with Timken numbers.

Ricks mopars on eBay. Timken bearings.

For all lubricants Amsoil. Superior products proven by independent testing.

Found the Timken numbers.
2808267- seal-Timken 6840s
1619701- inner bearing Timken LM67048
1619700- inner cup or race Timken LM67010
1619703- outer bearing Timken LM11949
1619702- outer cup or race Timken LM11910

You can get a better price if you buy them in a set.
Timken set 6 includes LM67010 and LM67048
Timken set 2 includes LM11949 and LM11910
Seals must be bought separately Timken 6840s

Rock auto is great on prices but some of their listings are wrong. Here's an example. For 1968 abodies they have mixed up the Timken seal part numbers for the 10 and 11 inch brakes.
The actual part number for the 10 inch is Timken 6840s
The actual part number for the 11 inch is Timken 8121s
Rock auto has them reversed.

Any wheel bearing grease will do well. Go to your local big box discount store or parts house and get a 1lb. tub of wheel bearing grease. Or, if you prefer a cartridge, get that. Any brand name will do, and most off brands will be fine, too. It can also say multi-purpose, but should say wheel bearing. All greases are slick. What you're looking for is higher heat resistance which is generated by brakes. This is more important for disc brakes, as they generate more heat closer to the hub. But any mineral base product will serve you well. Avoid the hype about synthetic greases at more than double the cost. It's overkill for your application, and will only serve to empty your wallet.

I was going to mention that too, high temp disk brake wheel bearing grease, would be the product to look for

I don't trust me local parts stores and not gonna wait a week for them to send me the wrong part. I order everything online myself. thanks for the parts numbers.

Interesting since A-bodies never came with 11" brakes.

The diameter of the rotor on the K-H disc equipped cars is very close to 11". I think very recently some parts suppliers started referring to them as 11" as opposed to disc.

The 8121 is for B, C, and E bodies with 11" drum brakes. The 6840 is for '66-72 A-body 10" drum and Disc.

Some brands used a different numbering system though, so, it might be harder to cross them over to Timken or Bower/BCA.
