Anyone run an intake without heat crossover in winter?

I never had a problem with blocking off the heat crossover passages and an electric choke - even on daily drivers up here in 0° F or lower temps...

When the electric choke is hooked up to a proper 12 v supply, all you need to do is pump the gas twice and crank the engine... When it starts, wait for the oil pressure to read full pressure, then put in drive and go on your way... No stumble or cough if the choke is set properly - even below 0° F....

However, it doesn't hurt to let it warm up a bit before driving when it's around 0° F...
