Anyone watch Landman on Paramount Plus?

I really like the show. Entertaining Billy Bob Thornton big Texas oil drama with some reality concerning fossil fuels. But my God I end up fast forwarding thru all the scenes with his wife and daughter. It detracts from the show significantly. I'm similar in age to the main character and I have a daughter close to that age of his daughter and their relationship is stomach churning. I guess that's what unlimited money can do? Yes I know its fiction but IMO the "wife and daughter slathered in sex/ sexuality" is a downer. If I were 14 Id be saying Hell yea! Been a looooong time since I was 14!!
 
I watched the show and enjoy it. Seems I like all of Taylor Sheridans series so far. As for the sexy parts with his wife and daughter, I see it as it adds to the constant stress.

My wife and I watch Landman. I told her that the fact that I hate those two characters is a credit to the writers and actors who portray them. The wife makes my skin crawl and not in a good way. Makes me think of the Real Housewives franchise.
 
I just can't see the appeal of a gold digging albeit Hot wife that's guaranteed to make a scene everywhere he goes with her. The drug king pin played by Andy Garcia is very likable.
 
It is Hollywood, but still entertaining. One of the best Sheridans flicks.
I agree, I do not care for the daughters character but this year she has toned down a lot.
His wife, her character is as spoiled and crazy as a c*** house rat! (that is crazy!)
Remember it is just Hollywood. But a glimpse into the oil region.

If you're too old or unable to perform like a man, scenes of women may resonate with you like a car show with imports does with me.

Yeah, the women are annoying but they do look great. You can appreciate that, right?
 
Wife and I watch it and we both enjoy it.

Billy Bob is awesome in the role (I'd love to have a few beers with him) and the wife likes him cause he's from Arkansas.

The mom and daughter??? I'd take either one...or both for the night!!!

Oh those actress's are definitely hot. But I would rather see Tommy Norris hook up with Montys widow played by Demi Moore or the redhead waitress at that bar called The Patch.
