What band apply ratio do you use for your second gear torque flite? Do you have any servo piston/spring modifications for the second gear apply? I use the 3.8 ratio lever. What is your valve body choice for all out drag racing? [904 or 727, please specify]

all out drag racing..

904 trans with Tranzact Pro Brake with 5.0 lever...

do you get a 2-3 drag? any servo mods? I use the A & A four ring servo piston and spring combination

I'd run a blocked servo with no spring if I was using a 5.0 lever.
Let me explain it this way.
If you use a 5.0 lever it travels slower at the band end than the lower numbered levers on the apply and the release both.
It has more holding power, but the strut end travels slower.
The servo spring needs to release at the same time, so you are getting a slower release of the band while the 3rd gear clutches are coming on.
Without the spring, the band releases quicker because the spring does not have to unload.
I'd bet you will have a way more instant release of the band, and no bindup.
