I know, it sounds a little harsh, but I think it is appropriate.

I just got off the phone with Mrmopartech, Scott Preston. He thanked me for sending the money for the banner I had asked for and let me know he had sent it out. We got to talking as we usually do and he was telling me that I was only the 6th member to actually send him the money for the banner. And I had completely forgotten about it and was late sending the money. This was after a couple of dozen had said that they wanted one or more. He took people at their word and had a bunch made up. He is now out about $400. I don't know about you guy's and gal's but I can't take hits like that. So, if you said you wanted one and haven't sent Scott the money for the banner, IT IS TIME TO PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS. I know this post will probably get me in the doghouse with some people, but it does bother me when things like this happen.

He should post everyones user name that said they wanted a banner but have not paid. Then he could check names off one by one until everyone has paid. Four hundred dollars is not nothing to just write off.

Thanks for the post Jack. I wanted a banner but didnt see the thread until about a week ago and figured I was too late. So I just sent Mrmopartech a PM and hopefully he can get rid of 1 thats just sitting.

I've had the money order sitting on the table for a week now. Couldn't find a stamp. I know that I have a pack somewhere.

It will be in the mail first thing tomorrow. It's the only day that I can hit the Post Office.

Funny thing is, I responded to the Banner thread before I read this one.

A few years back the town I live in had several million dollars of unpaid property taxes. A new town treasurer was voted in and she started investigating how she could collect on the taxes.

Well she threatened and then started publishing the names and the amount owed in the news paper with the ultimate action if arrangements to pay weren't made foreclosure proceedings would be initiated. Amazing how fast she was able to collect the money.

Town was able to buy a new fire truck, a hovercraft for ice rescues in the winter and fix some roads.

Wanna hear my blowhard dilemma?

I just ordered a scan tool for $2500. from an ebayer that's has hundreds of great feedback, top seller, all that crap right.

Well, my main brain just died while using it so I emailed him, told me to send it back to canada for a replacement.
I send it right away.
I check shipping status, says he got it.

I emailed him to see when he will send the new one expecting him to say right away.

The dickhead tells me he's on vacation till sometime in October???? WTFFFF??

I told him I need it for my business and he knew I was shipping it back to him asap, and he fails to notify me he may be on vacation?

I smell a rat, and that dude better not even think of ripping me off as I can drive to Canada personally.
