Part 1: I've got an ATI Super Damper for a big block Mopar with a Chevy pulley insert. I believe I got this may years ago because I was going to install a big block in an A-body with either a solid motor plate up front or individual 'bat wings' (I have both). Somewhere along the way I learned (and now forgot) that with either install I needed a Chevy pulley at the crank to line up the belt with the alternator and water pump pulleys. Now for the life of me I can't remember which Chevy pulley was specified. Anyone know which pulley is correct?
Part 2: I am not using the motor plate or the bat wings since the car now has a full QA1 front end and their modular engine mounts allow for a multitude of engine choices. So, I see ATI sells a replacement hub for the Mopar big block damper with the correct bolt pattern for a Mopar pulley. Is it as simple as buying the replacement hub and swapping it with the Chevy hub? The damper is not on site presently or I'd do my own research. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
