What axle flange gaskets are you running on your 8.75?

In DrDiffs brake kit it says to run fiber gaskets with green bearings and not stock metal ones. I have 2 fiber ones that were in my pile of gaskets, the Dana 60 axles I pulled out had like a rubber gasket that seemed 100x better than the fiber gaskets?

So what gaskets are you running on your 8.75 axle flanges? Picture of the rusty axle housing is mine that had cheap gaskets on it years ago when I put the rear end back together.

The green bearings have an o ring on them to "seal" the gear oil into the housing along with the axle housing seals. Some say no need to use the axle housing seals but I would still use them.

The green bearings are "sealed" so they are lubed for life and do not require any additional lube from the gear oil.

I would just follow the directions, and use a fiber gasket where noted.

Just an FYI.
The rear factory tapered roller bearings were never lubricated by differential oil.
They were hand packed with high strength axle grease and had an inner and outer axle seal to prevent water and dirt contamination. Just like the front tapered bearings are.
The only time the rear axle bearing ever saw oil is when the inner axle seal failed.
