We just returned home from our weekend out in the wilds of Pensylvania. My friend's wedding was a blast on Saturday, and today Amy & me took a lovely ride up into the mountains of northern Penslyvania to visit EvilScamp,a.k.a. Kevin
We pulled up and found everyone out in the garage, Kevin, his Dad Dan, his brother Dan, and Nephew Dylan. Huge garage, Duster in pieces, and his brother's Road Runner on a rotissere. Kev's Duster is a " little old man owned" straight, rust-free car that us east coast guys wish we can find for every project we undertake. It's gonna be a nice one when finished. The R.R. was his fathers, who bought the car new. It's a 383/4spd car undergoing the "full treatment". Kevin's brother is also the state's caretaker of C bodies. He had `em everywhere! They are fortunate to own a nice sized chunk of property that's filled with Mopars, and I'm talkin alphabet soup; A's, B's, C's, and what ever those big old 4X4 Ramchargers are, which they need since they live, literally, on top of a mountain! We chatted awhile, hopped in Kevin's Scamp, and went to lunch. Kevin is lucky to live in an absolutely beautiful section of Pa! The scenery is breath taking to say the least. We rolled on back to his place, chatted it up some more, and said our goodbyes as we had a 2-3 hour drive home, which took just over 4 hours....
Kev.... Amy & I had a great time. You, your Father, & brother were a pleasure to meet. A family that's genuine Mopar lovers. Thank you :thumrigh:
Dan Sr, Dan Jr, and the Evil one his-self, Kevin. Bird carcass in background...
