Bad for my 727 or not?

I manually shift my 727 tranny all the time when I am driving.I never let it go thru the gears on it's own,just feels better to shift it myself.Will this speed up any wear and tear on my tranny?

As long as it's healthy, and you have the kickdown/throttle pressure linkage hooked up, I think you're good to kick it out!

It won't hurt it as long as you have the throttle pressure linkage hooked up and adjusted right. Hell, why not get a manual valve body? Nothin like a torqueflite with one.
