Hey guys I have a rebuilt/ and internally balanced 360 I am about to install in my 72 Dart. I had trans. rebuilt with shift kit, also bought new torque conv. with 360 external balance.Am I about to have a problem with balance? Since balance on conv.would offset internal balance.

I dont understand the question..... You can have either ur converter or ur flx plate blanaced if it is externally balanced.. if its internally balanced u will need a neutral balanced flex plate and converter.

Can a person take the conv. balance weights off to compensate for the internally balanced engine or is that not needed?.I will ask my engine builder what to do when I go get engine. The reason I ask is I was of the belief that the reason the conv. was balanced was to compensate for the engine not being internally balanced. My engine is balanced internally, which would mean no external balance of torque conv. would be necessary.

converters come w/wieghts on the top behind the teeth.. they are square skinny ones.. those are on there for the balance the verter to 0... if u have one on the front of the the verter facing u towards the top then u can just grind it off
