ballast resistor with pertronix

do i need to run a ballast resistor with a pertronix ignitor 2 with flame thrower in my 73 duster with 360 motor? thanks

If the coil recommends one then yes. The pertronix igniter is just an electronic switch much like the the mopar ecu, the need for a ballast resistor is a function of the coil you are using not the control module.

if using the pertonix coil you dont need it.
