Is there a temp plate or any particular way to install pass mirror on 67 barracuda?

Isn't it placed to match the driver's side?
67 and 68 left mirrors are in different places. You can copy your left mirror position so it looks good from outside. You wouldn't get helpful reflections from inside.
If you'll get someone to position the mirror while you view from drivers seat ( protect your paint ) you'll likely find the foot of the mirror is up closer to the belt molding and toe end tipped upward out of parallel with body lines too.

Crap, now I need to find another door for my 68...
Might be best. Mirror position isn't the only difference in 67-8 doors.
Gasses are different, vent window frame mounting is different, even the hardware at armrests is different.
