Found this, called summit, and got it for 111.17. Brought the pair down to $242.26

Sweet! I was going to make them. The tops are good, but the lower portions were poorly repaired by the P.O. With new amd quarters and rear valance, I had to get the right stuff.

So i guess your saying Summit has them on sale?? Any other parts like dual rear valance??

Jegs has the left side on sale for 112. I had summit price match because Jegs has the right side for 164 as opposed to summit’s 130 for either side. So summit beat the left side price, and I bought both sides from then. I bought the dual rear valance at full price.

If you compare the cost to other retail items of similar material, charcoal grille, pot and pans, anything..., you were robbed.
We could make our own from cookie sheets and design bolt in/removable for cleaning feature. Hold what you bought under there and look at it. You should see how simple this could be done. Back when I was once pursuing this I noticed a higher demand/need for console brackets.
I designed and produced console brackets as good as, in some ways better than, OEM and even included a placement template. I found I couldn't get into all the cell phones/eyes and wallets. So when aftermarket started offering these brackets, their buyers would come to me for the template.
I gave up, sold out.
Forgive my rant. Good luck with your project.

I know I could have made them, and they would have been a lot cheaper/free, as I have several sheets of 18ga. but I figured what the hell, I’ll go with the fancy stampings

I ended up making my own and it wasn't too much work at all. I cut the rusted portion out, flattened it, made a wood template and then used some 16g steel to form the piece. A 4x6 sheet of 16g cost me 18$. Probably took a good hour to make.

I have no experience doing this type of work, and didn't run into any problems, so would definitely recommend it as a DIY.

Some dimensions from a driver side repop and view from front if it helps............

The ribs provide the stiffness as part of the unibody which you won't get with a flat piece but whatever floats your boat .I bought my dual valance and a rear cross member from an AMD vendor in Cali who was cheaper than AMD themselves and shipped free in the US .
The extensions were available local in $Cdn so I bought those and a complete trunk floor here .

I found and bought a pair of NOS before these were reproduced. AMD seams to have done a good job on these......

I have had Folks reach up and under for these tabs only to say they are original. Nice original Car.
I informed them afterwards they were replaced with AMD pieces much to their surprise. It does "matter" and Cookie pan sheets will not satisfy all.

They could have put the rear wiring harness tabs on the left piece and may be doing that now. Mine were first releases and had to fab the tabs for the harness on the drivers side. I used band strapping that was heated to reduce the temper and coated in black platstic dip and sent them to Hodge for install.
