From what I read here at FABO it looks to be a 68-69 correct? ...and it takes a special block with extra threaded bosses on the driver side front?
I know pretty much of nothing when it comes to factory BB A bodies. I got a K member in a package deal with some other stuff. Its been chopped for an oil pan and poorly repaired. It came from a drag car, but I don't think it was an original BB car. Does this thing look like a real factory K?

Good question, I've never seen anything like it.

Yes it is, but it also looks like it had some modification on the drivers side front of the motor mount, probably had a bigger oil pump with an AN fitting on it, seen that happen before. Will it be for sale?

Best way to tell, if it is a true BB K-member, is to look at the steering box mount.
First pic. See the mount kind of sits in line with the K-member. BB and quite sure also the ´68 SS A-Body, had this steering box mount placement.
Second pic. Small block K-member.
Two different PN.
Not talking about what DC later offered.

Well It does have a raised steering mount, does that disqualify it as a real BB K member? It really doesn't look like it been cobbled from a small block K.

It’s a big block A-body k-frame. You can tell because the nose of the steering box points straight at the left motor mount.
