JPar- just reading the last few post and time line and could not help but be a tad funny about another re- awake of a dead post that’s all. Lol!

No it’s not. That’s a different engine and not what the OP asked help for. While it is a more favorable route.....
The OP is working with what he has.

Do a tune up, flip the lid on the air cleaner, 1.6 rockers, dual plane intake, edelbrock 500 cfm call it a day.
