Bell housing info

I bought this bell housing at a Mopar swap meet 2 years ago. I wanted one to work with an A body with the 4 speed OD trans. The guy told me this came out of a 4 speed OD A body car & seemed honest. It wont fit my trans Holes dont line up. I'm in no hurry to get one it just for a future project. In the mean time I need to find out what this is. Anyone know?

Is that a cast iron bell? I have a O/D bell here and it's aluminum. I can't find that numbers on my list of bell housings

Looks real close to my 64 D100 with 3 speed.

Yea I think its cast iorn. I'll double check that. So you guys think this is an eary 3 speed bell?

That is a bell housing for a truck it will take an 11" clutch and the truck np435 trans bolts to it. It will not fit any cars just trucks

IMHP, Either he(the seller) was mistaken or he outright lied to you.I hope thats not too strong a wording.I hate it when stuff like that happens to me.
