It may be possible to do that with a big block transmission?

But the bolt pattern is different on the small block transmissions.

I think you can go larger but not smaller, I would call brewers.

Already has 5.125 retainer. 4.16 bolt circle. Cant change the retainer to 4.315. Need bell with 5.125 retainer hole. 73 A body

I have a Bell, it it small block OD. It has been bead blasted and has a weld repair around the shifter fork hole. It is the later (better?) Ball stud fork pivot style and comes with a new clutch fork. $65 plus the ride. Will try to find some pictures.
