Best manual transmission additive

Hey all,

I'm looking for advice on the best manual transmission additive that might end or lessen some nasty sounds in 2nd and 3rd gears (feels and sounds like I'm shifting through marbles). 1st and 4th are fine. Could be a synchro issue, but I'd prefer to hedge my bets and look for the simplest and most effective solution. Little advice here...

You have bearings going out, and no additive is going to help.
Since it's first and second mostly that tells me that it may very well be the rear shaft bearing, but the longer it goes without being taken care of the more it's going to destroy.

Sorry for the scary story, but that's what happens.

That bearing isn't all that hard to change if that's what it is.

Pull it out the fixes on those are cheap and easy.

Yeah they're too expensive and too easy to fix to try and put some additive in it.
