To a point, I agree. There are better factory parts that will fit a '64 model however and on a rebuild, I would go aftermarket urethane on the bushings. Now if you want to add braking and steering to the equation, use the C-body tie rods and ends, put disc brakes on it, and add a sway bar. I'll leave the choice of SBP or LPB and bar diameter to you as that will depend on what wheels you want, performance you need, and finances. On a race car you'll need to give a whole bunch more info.....Best suspension system for doin what? For an everyday driver, it's already under there.
