Got my new project home today. 1968 Dart 2dr hardtop with a rebuilt 440 with 292H comp cam and 8 3/4 rear 3.91 sure-grip, parts for disc brakes, 727, descent interior. It is going to need some minor to heavy body work depending on your perspective. This is the car I've been wanting for a while and the price was pretty darn good IMO for a big block conversion with most of the parts already there. $3K. I'm going to make it into some sort of Hemi Dart clone with a 440 instead. Look for a new resto thread in the summer maybe. The work on the Valiant takes priority as this one will have to wait its turn. Here are a few pictures.

Congrats Dave!!! You're gonna have to change that 'Plymouth' avatar when posting about your Dart. Looks like it will be a sweet street ride. Good find, good buy, good price!!! I've always been partial to Darts since my '69 340 Swinger bought used very late '69.
I missed that car for years after getting stupid and selling it back in the '80s. I'm working on a 360 crate powered '69 Dart to satisfy my Mopar urge.

I figured out my paint scheme. S/S style dart. Primer black all around. Black steelies. Keep the gold interior. I think Black primer on Gold will be awesome. I already have the CalTRacs and 3" relocation kit I got from Billyray (FABO member). And I have the scoop too. She will be a bruiser for sure. I can hardly wait to dive into this one when the Vert is done.
