That sure would be cool to own a slice of history.
Watched it at awswago Ill. "not spelled right"
He raced the stage coach wheeling machine.

A long time ago, Shirley and big daddy was there to

This is probably a knock-off. The real LRW never had:

Window glass
Headlights
Vent Windows
2 X 4 Barrel carbs

And what good is a line-loc on a wheelstander? 8)

It sure doesn't look real to me. I took this picture myself at Bristol (TN) Dragway just a few years back. This one doesn't even come close.

Oh well, I can't attach my picture for some reason.

Found this, but it doesn't prove anything about this Craig's list truck one way or the other...

Although, I just noticed the lettering isn't the same.... The front of the real truck says Bill Maverick Golden

This guy is a poseur.

Maverick retired in 2003, and the Little Red Wagon retired with him. This was actually the third or fourth wagon; the first and second had been wrecked in the 1960s, and the two wrecks were assembled into one new truck which was itself wrecked in 1975. A third new wagon was purchased in the 1970s, to be retired in 2003 after about thirty years of demonstrations. Yet another truck was a 1983 Ram used for tractor pulls; and still another was built just for Don Garlits’ museum. The third new wagon (the one that was used through the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s) and the museum truck have both been purchased by a collector for museum display.

Mo, thanks for getting the picture up. As you folks can see, there is not much resemblance between the two trucks, but maybe Bill can shine some light on this.

No Problem Mike.
The picture was a bit to large for the forum, so I resized it.
If or when I get a response, I'll post an update.

The wording on the side of the truck is different.

Remember that truck growing up.
Man thats got to be a E-ticket ride !!!!!!!

I remember the red one (1st post) from the 70`s. They would always showcase the Lil Red Wagon and the Hemi Under Glass together in races. They used skids on the back that would shoot sparks all the way down the track. NHRA probably outlawed the skids as times grew more safety conscience. That truck would have been perfect for Barrett Jackson, but with what I`ve seen cars selling for on Ebay, he might be better off!

I had a chance to watch the "RedWagon",and Chuck Poole's "Chuck wagon" perform an exhibition match at Cayuga back in the early seventies. Wheelstanders were always my favorites at the track.

This is a FAKE Little Red Wagon. My real truck has no windows. Plus my real truck would never be street legal. I have contacted my lawyer about this truck. The Little Red Wagon name is copy righted. It can not be used unless I give them permission. Which in this cae I did not. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Bill "Maverick" Golden
