Nope… I just wrote them off as a fool and his money .Those were the cast iron ones, right? Any restitution there?
Still fun to look at though .

Was that those that were bad about cracking on the outside along the bottom row of head bolts?Nope… I just wrote them off as a fool and his money .

Yep .. in his description he wrote “ looks like someone tried to disguise the W2 markings”. I found this plausible since he was in circle track country . But it turns out the cracks had been brazed . And they were decked to a close chamber . These are 810 open chamber heads . I knew they had been decked but not that much .Was that those that were bad about cracking on the outside along the bottom row of head bolts?
So worthless. I hope you left appropriate feedback.Yep .. in his description he wrote “ looks like someone tried to disguise the W2 markings”. Thanks for the translation..... I don't read 'angry reply' language that well.Lol, so new ones are $12-1800, so be thankful they were only $300.
Oh I hope the mods allow the pic of the dm exchange that @RedlineRed previously posted. Classic pass the buck bs lmao.

You ask me any known issues I'm not no expert man told me it was ready to run I took pretty good pictures I saw but if you're not happy with the I'll issue your $300 money back but I ain't paying for shipping anytime a smart person buys a you said a rods especially a getting a set for $300 that's 12 to 1800 dollars I'm going to have them resized or checked anyway that's common sense which you may be short on but I'll issue a $300 refund on the right after you send them back to me I ain't got a problem with that you can't please everybodyPoint is that I specifically asked if there were any issues and the reply was no.
Gives him the parts AND the money. I'd think about that one.Like I said in my email to you, I don't care what "the man" told you, never even mentioned a third party prior to sale. YOU offered these and this is squarely on you. It's not about resizing. YOU stated they were "ready to use". My PM to you clearly conveys an expectation (expressed 4 different ways) of a visual inspection and relaying anything unusual about them. First thing I did when I opened the box was give them a visual inspection and here we are. Either you didn't do that and claimed they were ready to use or you did and chose not to disclose. One does not have to be an "expert" to see that the scoring/pitting/erosion/rough surface, whatever you choose to describe it, might be something that a potential buyer would at least want to know about. The sale reeks of deceit either way.
You will issue a refund only after you receive them back. After all of this, you really expect me to trust you on that?? You're insinuating that I am the one that can't be trusted here. In my emails to you I asked for a refund but no response. Only after all of us going scorched earth on you are you now willing.....with conditions. SMH.......
Yet he only has 2 negative reviews. Lots of talk, but if people aren't leaving appropriate feedback, what good does it do?Interesting link.

Exactly. The feedback system here is convoluted at best, but once you finally figure it out, it's not bad. You'd THINK they'd try to make it easier to use since the admin are usually the ones saying people need to use it.Yet he only has 2 negative reviews. Plus, if you got shafted by a member, you'd think they'd put in the effort to figure it out and actually leave feedback. I'm sorry, but if you get screwed and don't put in the effort, you don't have a leg to stand on. Just my maybe not so humble opinion.Exactly. I cannot disagree. It certainly cuts both ways and the rest of the members end up losing out learning about crooked sellers.Plus, if you got shafted by a member, you'd think they'd put in the effort to figure it out and actually leave feedback. I get what you're saying, BUT the buyer in this case "pays the price" because feedback isn't used? This was his 1st time dealing with this illiterate POS.Yet he only has 2 negative reviews. Lots of talk, but if people aren't leaving appropriate feedback, what good does it do?
Absolutely not. However, if as many who have mentioned getting screwed by him had left appropriate feedback, I would hope the deal wouldn't have been made in the first place. At that point one could at least argue that a respective buyer would have been properly warned. Then it's buy at your own risk. Still doesn't excuse the bullshit though.I get what you're saying, BUT the buyer in this case "pays the price" because feedback isn't used? This was his 1st time dealing with this illiterate POS.
Chicken/egg scenario.
The link i posted was just threads he started....a LOT more replies from him replying to ads started by someone else.
Flat out jailhouse goof, no excuses.

Right, then that could be pinned 100% on the buyer, since they were too ignorant to read the feedback. If said feedback ain't there, then none of that can happen. That's why we need to either make it easier to post feedback, or come up with a way to teach everyone how to do it. I made a how to video on it a few years back, but it's buried now.Absolutely not. Leave me feedback negative I I've been on here since 2004 I've tried to make everything right sell the stuff I'm honest my ability to let you know when I when somebody tells me something I've learned over the years you take everything with a grain of salt I guess but if I'm going to spend $300 on a 12-18 dollars I'm going to have them check if I put them in my mouth I'm going to have them resized and checked anyway that's the smart thing like I said I'll give you $300 back to make you happy but I'm not paying for shipping both ways. Cuz you're not happy what they look like I'm sorry about that I posted pictures on you never took them to the machine shop to have them size I never took him I just took the man's word so if you want your $300 back send them back to me I'm tired of hearing you bellyaching I'm you don't never have to buy anything from me anytime you buy anything to use you take a chance on that send the back if you think you can't trust me make me sign for him but I won't be home for another 3 weeks
