Was that those that were bad about cracking on the outside along the bottom row of head bolts?
Yep .. in his description he wrote “ looks like someone tried to disguise the W2 markings”. I found this plausible since he was in circle track country . But it turns out the cracks had been brazed . And they were decked to a close chamber . These are 810 open chamber heads . I knew they had been decked but not that much .

Like I said in my email to you, I don't care what "the man" told you, never even mentioned a third party prior to sale. YOU offered these and this is squarely on you. It's not about resizing. YOU stated they were "ready to use". My PM to you clearly conveys an expectation (expressed 4 different ways) of a visual inspection and relaying anything unusual about them. First thing I did when I opened the box was give them a visual inspection and here we are. Either you didn't do that and claimed they were ready to use or you did and chose not to disclose. One does not have to be an "expert" to see that the scoring/pitting/erosion/rough surface, whatever you choose to describe it, might be something that a potential buyer would at least want to know about. The sale reeks of deceit either way.

Box them up and post the return tracking number on here. If you use PirateShip.com and select UPS they won't cost that much to ship.

Were the rods ever taken to a machine shop for a professional opinion? Was BME ever called? I'd verify they aren't usable before completely writing them off.

Exactly. The feedback system here is convoluted at best, but once you finally figure it out, it's not bad. You'd THINK they'd try to make it easier to use since the admin are usually the ones saying people need to use it.

Ive been a buyer and a seller on here and have left quite a bit of feedback both ways for a long time, then it starts to taper off both on my part and the other parties.
There are all sorts of quirks to navigating the site, all sites have them.
I bet there is "something" that can be done so that feedback MUST be left. Not sure how that would work though, but its doable.
Chicken/egg scenario.

Absolutely not. However, if as many who have mentioned getting screwed by him had left appropriate feedback, I would hope the deal wouldn't have been made in the first place. At that point one could at least argue that a respective buyer would have been properly warned. Then it's buy at your own risk. Still doesn't excuse the bullshit though.

The lead a horse to water scenario...that being said the scammer in this case is taking advantage of that.
If you want to post an ad, maybe have a rating automatically pop up on every ad that you post OR to every ad "they" reply to?

Right, then that could be pinned 100% on the buyer, since they were too ignorant to read the feedback. If said feedback ain't there, then none of that can happen. That's why we need to either make it easier to post feedback, or come up with a way to teach everyone how to do it. I made a how to video on it a few years back, but it's buried now.
