ON ebay there is a 1970 Superbird conversion project for sale. This is one of the questions:
Q: Hello Carolinariddler, My goal is to erect a hammock for my pre-pubescent manatee, Hector. Your wing configuration seems like an excellent site for this, however I am concerned about his eventual size and length. Now, he would nestle nicely between your wing uprights, but you know how fast these kids grow nowadays! Will the wing telescopically widen to meet his future dimensional challenges? If so, will this cause an unexpected shift in ballast resistance? I once had a Reliant K car just like this! Thanks! May-26-14
A: Thank you for your interesting question. It is with deep regret that I inform you that Hector would not be safe at speeds in excess of 100 miles an hour slung from the wing of this vehicle. Maybe a Ford is in Hector's future? Thanks,C.R.
