Blacked out my dash - looks good

When I bought the car, the PO had primed the dash frame and only painted the bottom third. He also painted the center panel wood grain black, but not the glove box wood grain. I got tired of seeing primer and the mismatched dash. I took it all apart and painted it black, then painted the panels black as well. At first I was going to leave the chrome trim around the panels, but I liked the all black look better. I also took the opportunity to take the red condoms off the gauge bulbs so I can actually see them at night. What do you think?

that's exactly what I did to my Dart a few years ago but I repainted some of the chrome parts outlining the gauges and heater control with a silver paint pen. Looks much better than the wood grain.
Now just need to do something with the wood grain on my door panels
