Really, best with two people, so the guy underneath can pull and install the link in/ out and make sure the lever is in the detent. Also make sure the neutral safety properly and reliably actuates in park/ neutral.
I currently have a ProStick, but after seeing the MUCH longer trans lever of the Cheetah, I don't care for how BM set that up with so short a lever. That is, a very small amount of "off" or play in the shifter/ cable, will make a large change at the trans.
