Body Tag Decoding?

Does anybody have any info on decoding body tags?

I found a few places online that have info, but it's not really telling me what I need to know.

Here's an example:

Are all body codes 3 digits?
Are they different for different years?

If I can get all this information, I can add another piece to Adam's forthcoming Vehicle Registry mod... Another thing to delay the release date. ;-)

Some are three didgit codes in some years, 367= 66-68 Formula S. Some are alpha/numerical, A53 in '69 = Formula S. I think that's why Galen had to spend a lot to get and organize all of this complicated info.

body type is a 2 digit in my parts catalog

21 - 2dr. sed.
23 - 2 dr h/top
29 - 2 dr sports h/top
41 - 4 dr sed
43 - 4 DR H/TOP
45 - 2 SEAT WAGON
46 - 3 SEAT WGN
